W. F. Fisher and Son has been servicing the research community in the metropolitan New York area with Laboratory Animal feed and bedding for over fifty years.   We distribute Anderson Bed O Cob, Bio-Serv, Northeastern Products, Nestpaks, Purina Mills Lab Diets and Test Diets, P.W.I. Industries, Shepherd Specialty Papers,  Zupreem Diets and Ziegler Diets.

We were the first distributor of Laboratory Animal feed and bedding in the country to be ISO 9002 certified.   We are the only distributor in the metropolitan area to be so certified.   W. F. Fisher and Son was the first and only distributor of Laboratory Animal feed and bedding to develop standards for the warehousing and delivery of Laboratory Animal diets and bedding.    These standards were developed in collaboration with a consortium of the major Pharmaceutical and research institutions in the metropolitan area and have become a standard across the country.  These standards form the basis for our ISO 9002 certification. 

We operate out of 24,000 sq. ft. warehouse that is environmentally controlled and monitored.  As per our SOPs we sweep, vacuum and mop (with an FDA approved disinfectant) our warehouse and trucks as a means of sanitation.  All of our products are stored and delivered on plastic pallets and slip-sheets to prevent pest infestations.
