The Mouse TecniTunnel is a versatile environmental enrichment designed to establish a dynamic three-dimensional cage environment. It can be installed suspended in GM500 and EM500 IVC cages or placed directly on the cage floor, allowing facilities to tailor enrichment based on study needs and housing configuration.
Its flat-sided design prevents rolling, ensuring stability and comfort for animals while simplifying handling for staff. The conical shape is intentionally designed to resemble the human hand, allowing the TecniTunnel to double as a mouse scoop and reduce direct animal contact during transfers, helping minimize stress for both animals and care staff. Suspension clips are available for use with stainless steel or plastic lids for the GM500, EM500, and select Blue Line cages. Available in clear or red.
