Thermoreversible Gel Mixing Instructions

Mixing medications into thermoreversible gel supplements from ClearH2O is simple and requires just a few materials: a syringe, stickers, and a vortex.

Place the gel cup in a water bath at the recommended liquefaction temperature and time, i.e. 60º C for 15 minutes.

Remove from the water bath and dry the cup. Follow aseptic technique for preparing the cup for medication by injection.

Using a syringe with your medication dosage determined for a 2 oz cup of gel, carefully inject the medication.

Place a sticker over the injection site and ensure good adhesion.

Hand shake for 15 seconds, then vortex for an additional 15 seconds.

Allow the cup to cool at room temperature for at least 15 minutes or place in the refrigerator to accelerate solidification. For storage, keep cups refrigerated.
